ABOUT

Born and raised in the South. I'm a Southern girl who loves her "fried chicken, sweet tea, rocking on the front porch on a sunny day" lifestyle, but I can be a city girl too.

Ever since junior high school I have been in love with magazines and at even a younger age in love with art in general. I have always possessed an imagination and creative side to everything. I began collecting magazines and hoarding them till one day my best friend made me throw 90% of them away!   (I still love her though.)

In high school I was a part of my school's newspaper, broadcast news, and film classes. There I have gained so much. From knowledge to life skills I will never forget thanks to one amazing teacher. From then on I knew I wanted to study media.

When I first began college I flip-flopped between the idea of being a graphic designer or work in PR (which I still enjoy). I began to intern at Southern Views Magazine (Columbus, Ga.) in 2011 for half a year till I moved to Florida.

Currently I am now a student at Auburn majoring in journalism. I am also interning with Sammie Saxon Photography, where I am learning the design and photography aspects of print and media.
